....does that mean they [may] mail my employer? and notify them of my permit? The wording was gray as it said "by" vs "to"

I went with Utah for a couple reasons. Reciprocity with more of the states I tend to visit, and by Utah law your personal information is protected. Florida didn't or doesn't have that protection. If you have specific states that you want reciprocity with I would start with them and work backwards.

Utah does require that Utah firearms law is covered in any class that qualifies for their permit. What more than a few instructors did, was take the NRA Basic Pistol course and add a section on Utah law. They submit this with their credentials to Utah and if approved can now teach a course for the Utah permit.

Imma probably look into the NH since it's so cheap, I stick to driving around the NE quadrant of the states, and I'm not too worried about SC myself either. It'd be nice to have PA too since I have family there. Eventually I'd probably get the UT to fill out Delaware and some mid-west states, but I dunno if I'd ever consider that seriously because my main family is in NJ and there's no point if I can't get from VA to NJ without going through Maryland and NJ (both super gun-hating states with no reciprocity to any other. ugh.).

Where are you getting this from? From handgunlaw.us it still lists the state as "RED" by just selecting Virginia... I need the NH to cover PA.

I live in Mo. at the present time we recognize/recognized by 28 states. Latest is S.C...Not sure packing.org has this update. I found it on the state attn. general web page.

Well im waiting on my New Hampsire non resident ... Now if only there was a soultion for SC!!
