    Riverside County CCW

Apparently the current Riverside Sheriff is very pro-2A. Also, I am hearing that CCW in Riverside has become much more realistic, as long as you can articulate something realistic in your good cause statement. I am working on mine now. Does anyone else have any recent experiences?

Not in riverside. I have heard it is possible. I have heard the major difference from what some would consider normal is a "good cause statement". Check out team Billy jack. They are very informative and helpful with information on the Sheriff's tendencies as well.

I am in a different county. "Self defense" was all the "good cause" they needed.

He didnt used to be but then the city council got together and said that he had to start accepting self defense as good cause. Check out calccw.com, great website and great folks. I'm in san bernardino county and all it basically is is pay your dues and your good. Riverside I've heard is the same, but like I said check calccw.com and they are great!

Thanks for the replies and links. I much appreciate it. I'm obviously most concerned with my "good cause statement." Looking through the application there are a few questions that seem to be a concern. I'll post the questions here in this thread when I have a chance. In the meantime I'll keep reading here and the recconended sites.

    Thanks again for the help.

If you have not already done so, go to CalGuns.net and filter to the SoCal threads on this. The answers are already there.
