    Where Did You First Carry?

    Hello,

I'm pretty sure the first place I went after receiving my CCW permit was a friend's. He was still waiting on his to arrive. I don't rightly remember though.

Where did you carry on your very first trip as a CCW permit holder?

To my arch-enemy's house. Then down to the river. Then back to the gun store to buy a new one to replace the one I 'lost'.

I drove back to Columbus from Cincinnati with a .45 on my hip, I think I stopped at the Flying J on the way to get gas.

Shucks - how to remember that far back!!

As I recall - sequence was approx .............. come out of SO with my new permit. Get into truck and load up snub and place in holster.!!

Drive then to large town for some purpose - but it did involve people and could well have been the infamous Wally World, by chance. I did definitely go in at the deep end

My first time carrying was not really all that special. I holsterd up, got the .45 cocked and as locked as the XD will get, holsterd and snaped then i went straight to wallyworld per this fourms instructions. I got some WWB ammo, nacho's,a Philly Blunt "Chocolate" and walked out the front door like i owned the place. Then to my friends house to brag.
    I carry because I care.

All the way from southern Ohio to Northern Florida for a precision rifle class. I did some exploring in Albany GA just because on the way.

But I never was a CCW holder...

    To the skinny bedroom mirror...
    "Are you... talkin' to me?"

    Seriously,
In Virginia in '92 or so (when it was "may issue"), it was either the mall (where I worked) or the range. Can't remember for sure now.
