Today is the Day! A Call To Action!

Today is the last day (unless they change their minds) for bills to be sent to the Governor. PLEASE, Please, please pick up the phone and CALL right NOW! Five of us called here within minutes of each other and we ALL got thru... CALL 916-445-2841 and BEG Governor Brown to VETO each and every one of these. Flood the phones people. I've had a bunch of friends call and I've called myself. Some have gotten through quickly, some take a while. Feel free to even mention recent events in CO. Now is the chance to make your voice heard!

California anti gun legislation. That I had posted it in there. Our senate, assembly and governor are burning the midnite oil on legislation right now.

    With respect to many of the law abiding citizens of CA;

CA can slide into the Pacific for all it's worth..It is a lost cause..a lost state and probably unrecoverable.

Little to do with 2A; CA has problems far larger then a 2A debate.

There are two ways to vote in CA that will bring change; change for you, not CA.

    1) Vote with your wallet
    2) Vote with your feet...(i.e) Get out while you can!

Initiating #2 will cause #1 to be active.

    Good luck

Unless it's a liberal proposal, Moonbeam Jerry isn't going to back it. As my dad used to say "You made your bed, now you have to lay in it".

I prefer a nice soft flannel sleeping bag in the winter of course.
I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.
America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.

Busy Signal - either a lot of people are calling, or more likely, they shut the phone line down. I expect the latter.

I feel for the decent folks in California. I'm not saying that California is a lost cause, I just believe that California and Maryland are toast. I guess, in California, that Burger King "Have it your way" culture ain't working so well for the gun folks. People out there do, however, have 3 options. 1. Change things. 2. Watch it get worse. 3. Move to a more gun friendly state. Moving generally requires leaving, high paying jobs, beautiful weather and state sponsored entitlement programs. There is always a trade off for more liberties.

We would welcome California Pro-gun folks to the South. However, you would be required to leave the California "Failed Culture" behind.

oldskeetshooter. I traveled to Albany Georgia and worked off and on for the Marine Corps there. I failed the test the gnats were in my nose ears and eyes. Then I tried to go with boiled peanuts. Again I failed. One of the locals was a state alligator control guy and we had some very interesting weekends together. Now I passed thetest for eating Bugs and corn. You folks know how to deep fry just about anything grown on the planet. Deep fried pickles?????

I am going to stay in California and try my best to bring about change. Not all of California is what you read in papers but neither is all parts of Georgia what you read about Atlanta.

    Keep safe

I voted with my feet. I got the hell out of that state three years ago, and very glad I did. I went back to California two weeks ago to visit family, and it was very depressing to be there. I was extremely happy when I left there to come back home to Idaho.
