    FL. the last permit

My Florida permit arrived today i do believe that is the last one for now . I am not sure how i can add multi-states permits . Seems like the rest of the permits only would give me one more state each .

Congrats on the new permit, FL is now a little bit safer.
How many states is not the questions if all the states you may visit are covered by the permit you have...OMOYMV

Congrats on receiving the permit! I just sent off my FL application last week (father is moving there in this winter), and that will be my last one...for a while.

Oh come on. You know you want to get one of the first Illinois out-of-state licenses. Only 300 clams!

For the most part i do like to travel so my main thing is to get the coverage of the states i like to travel . Nevada is that one state but i go thier once every 2 years or so .

And there is no reason to get Illinois permit if i can just travel through.

I agree with you . I think if you have one good resident permit ( AZ etc) and utah / florida you are about covered. NV I dont go to enough to make that mess worth it to me . Plus I can always open carry ( not on the strip )..

Note it is good to have one permit in your state of Residence as some state will only recognize some of these ie CO will only take a UT permit if you are living in UT..

I believe Virgina is easy to get but AZ permits has most of thous states. When I look at the map of state the only one that don't take either AZ or UT are either the non free states that you have to live there to carry ( CA ,NY,CT or can never carry NJ etc) and Maine only takes theirs for some reason.

So yeah look at the state maps that are covered and say how often do I got to a state not covered and do they issue non res permits and get that one ..

    Maine accepts several permits. http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/maine.pdf

@ OP - Congrats! I'm up to 4, which (using some insane mix-matched logic), covers about every state I normally travel to or through. I ignore (refuse to go to places like NY, IL, CO or MD.....................SC also). Thank is OK, they do not need my money or the business taxes my people generate for them........... so sad, too bad!

I cannot justify any more permits that would add any benefit for me.

Having said that, we are probably about due for another round of States' AJ/DOJs changing the rules on who they recognize, again...................a yearly occurance. Always check the current laws of the states and strange local areas before you travel!
