I guess I'm not very smart but why would I tell a reporter if I took a class, carry and how often carry when so much effort has done to keep that info concealed. I don't remember how many papers have tried to print the info of who and where and actions taken to stop the printing of that info. What I do to make myself and family safe is not suitable for print, its my business.

I see little, if any, useful information in that article. It serves no purpose other than to provide a forum for anyone with an opinion; JMO.

I stopped carrying when I moved to the Portland metro region. I now rely on my cell phone and 911. I no longer need to carry the weight of the gun, or spend time and money in practicing with it, or have to worry about keeping it secure.
He makes no mention of the lucky rabbit's foot required to ward off evil.

But hey, if he's no longer burdened by maintaining a perishable skill and survival hardware, I sure hope he doesn't vote against funding emergency services in his area.

Well I was surprised to see a story like this without the usual spin that reporters add to their stories. I talked to the press just once about 20 years ago. After the so called reporter twisted my words and made me out to be some right wing anarchist my first thought was to give them a reason to see their dentist.

OTOH I for one would never allow my picture or full name be published as a gun owner or CC permit holder. Bad guys read the papers too. I prefer to go through life incognito.

Firing a suppressed is on my Bucket List.

I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.
