    Just got GA CCP

Not a bad process at all. Took exactly 21 days from the trip to the probate judge. Much faster and easier than SC. Wife got her's the same day I did.

Mine took 37 days in Fulton Counter proper.... what county is yours from? 21 days is pretty good.

Concealed. Not sure if open carry:)

I always called them a concealed carry permit hence the acronym. Mine was out of Camden County. Nice folks.

It's now called a GWL (Georgia Weapons License), and it allows you to carry either open carry or concealed carry.

Take a look at Welcome to GeorgiaPacking.org for the exact statutes.

In GA it is a Weapons Carry License. This state does not require concealed. Your license allows you to now carry whichever way you see fit.

The license also applies to blades that are longer than 5 inches, for what it's worth.

Do you know if they are doing the "drivers license" style in all counties now? My neighbor got hers several months back (North Fulton annex), and it has the form and fit of the driver's license. Mine, on the other hand, from downtown Atlanta several years ago, looks like an intern printed it for the judge on a cheap ink-jet printer and then laminated it...
