Very Interesting Targets: ANATOMICAL SHOWING THROUGH CLOTHED FIGURE

This may help targeting at the range for any anatomical point of aim:

    Attachment 81133

    Attachment 81134

    Attachment 81135

Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. - Anatomy Targets

There's a number of these, plus many other types.

(I have no connection to Letargets except as a user of some of their targets.)

I've been searching for targets depicting the sky, so I can practice shooting my shotgun into the air like Biden told me to. But I can't seem to find any.

I'm a fan of the anatomical targets as opposed to the zombie wielding a butcher knife, etc. ones.

Some people might need help. Remember how many times you've heard 'center mass'. Well in reality center mass of the torso of an adult = an upper abdominal/intestine shot. Upper center chest is where we want be along with the very small "T" formed by the nasal cavity and eye sockets of the cranium.

We used to have a couple of these in the 'break room/training room' at the station.

Didn't need to use 'em for shooting as they stuck in our heads as we seen them so often. Most people shoot low under high-stress, something to think about.

Good info, thanks for the post.

Go to Office <Fill in the blank> and buy a ream of blue printer paper. There you go.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

At first I was afraid they were anatomically-correct!!!!! If so I wouldn't be able to shoot them due to either laughing or averting my eyes. I see now what is intended and it looks like a reasonable target idea.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Cowboy, I do not know about YOU in particular, but I do know many otherwise 'educated' folks think the heart is on the left side of the body - among other things. When I was but a young, green pistolero and recognized my life was potentially at stake, I bought a basic medical book or two with illustrations and studied the internal body structures of the human body.

Oh. One also must have an idea of how those critical 'innards' present from different angles.

This does NOT apply to anyone who will never - even theoretically - fire a shot in self-defense.

I can see it now; 'Gunfight at the Nudist Colony!'

Yup, that would be - distracting.

"Anatomically-correct" targets. Good for helping folks know what's what, when most folks aren't that up on where exactly the key vitals exist. With as successful as medical treatment is getting these days, striking COM isn't good enough by itself. IMO, it's far better to have a "good" shooter be capable of knowing where the truly vital vitals are.
