I guess if you have to ask "how much"? it means you can't afford one!

    I believe you're about 5-6 hours south...

Here in Gainesville, I just found out, we had 5 armed home invasions in one night...nice neighborhood too! (not ours, thankfully...)

Things must be much worse down there...correct?

    I think we're almost there...

    Stay armed...stay safe!

O'Gara Hess and Eisenhart are down here around Cincy, its not uncommon to see flatbeds full of Humvees either going to get armored or just armored. I always wondered how one got a job testing to make sure the materials and techniwues were bulletproof.

When I was in high school in the 70's, I worked for a place in San Antonio that made these. A rich Saudi ordered a Mustang II for his son. Remember the dark years for Mustangs? They were dogs then, and with the armor it was a pig. We even put in a performance package. As my daddy says, "You can't polish a turd."

I think the coolest one we did was a Surburban for a Turk. He wanted a hunting rig for wild boar hunting and had the seats on hydraulic lifts that would push up through a cut-out in the roof so he could hunt from the truck.

The place I worked had an indoor range and an arsenal for persons interested in trying different weapons for self defense. They also had a driving school that taught offensive and defensive driving. Pretty cool stuff for a 17-year-old to see.
