    Best Christmas in years!

My wife and I have just recently gotten our CCW's. We spent Christmas with my parents...one of our presents for them was a box of ammo and some targets...they were VERY confused!

We told them all about our class and our CCW's...then spent Christmas afternoon shooting. My mom had never shot a gun before in her life! My dad and I taught her how and the 4 of us had a great time! Who knew guns could bring a family together on Christmas!?!

Welcome to the forum and congrats.

Taking the parents to the range is a great idea. I may try that this summer with my father first and mother second. I hope my wife will go from just shooting rifles, occasionally my handguns to having her own (she does have her rifle) and then getting a permit.

Thumbs up to you and your wife on a memorable Christmas tradition you can do every year.

And here I was thinking only Jews went shooting on Christmas (see my recent post "Jews do X-Mas with a Bang").

    Welcome :)

Always good to hear of families having a good time at the range!
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

Welcome to the Forum, I have been working at getting my son to go shooting with me, he used to when he was little but now has no interest in it. I don't give up though, he is 39 and really needs to be thinking of safety.

Way to go Zuki-doo, which range did you visit?

I used to live in Bay City...please send an e-mail, I'd be interested in getting in touch.
