What to say when someone asks

Ok, ideally people should not be aware that I'm carrying. However, when people notice and ask what's that, I'm a bit unsure I what to say. What do y'all say when someone asks , "What's that on your hip?"

I guess it depends who asks, but probably something like, That's what's left of my Siamese twin. Thanks for reminding me.
Seriously, you probably need a different cover garment or way of concealing if it is that noticeable.

I scream "He has a gun!" and run off in a preemptive strike fashion.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

I was going to say "if I tell you, I have to kill you" but, since I don't have my permit yet, I don't have that problem. But I will be watching to see what to say when it does come in the mail.

Same. But I call it a colostometer. It measures the amount of fecal matter produced by me in a given amount of time. Should my body produce a greater amount in a given time period than the preset amount, it begins beeping to let me know that it has about enough **** out of me.

    No joke. That's my answer.

I may get dinged for using the **** symbols, but it is indeed my very effective answer.

No one has ever asked in over twenty years of carrying a full size concealed handgun.

I carry a gun, because a Cop is too heavy.

Agreed that if it gets noticed, YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!!! That's why it's called CONCEALED CARRY. Go to 'Plan B' as quickly as possible. New holster, carry position or SOMEthing because it ain't gettin' it! And if you can't lie to someone that asks, who can you lie to? Concealed means concealed.

If you're attempting to carry concealed, and people are asking you what is on your hip, you are obviously doing something wrong.

When carrying concealed I've never been asked.

When open carrying I've never been asked either.
