Reality takes another step forward by sound of it - reassuring.
Nothing tho will quite ''do it'' until you guys actually have permit in hand. Been a long haul but seems, nearly there.

Let me get this straight, we have already paid $150 to the state of Kansas and now we have to give them another $12 for the permit card. Why didn't they include this with the application fee?

MO does the same thing. The $12 is for the DMV's time in processing the card and getting a photo.
Congrats to you Kansans... now hurry up and get MO reciprocity established so I can quit avoiding State Line road :)
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

I am sure that the $12 is a processing fee. You know each entity has to get their share. Here in washington we have an application fee and a processing fee as well but it is all done at the same time. once we get the permit then every 8 years we have a renewal fee and I believe the Sheriff office adds on a 2 dolar processing fee then to.
Just go with it At least you now can be legal.

Isn't there a $25 LEGAL fee?

Mailman just left. Nothing but junk mail and bills.
The pony express does run a little slower to this part of the state, maybe tomorrow.
