School Administrators in Chicago lose even more brain cells...

These people just seem to get more idiotic and illogical with each passing day. Now they're even bothered by the 'image' of a gun on a 'no-guns' sign. This level of wussification would be comical if it weren't so pathetic.

"Some school officials aren’t happy about the stickers because they contain a very basic image of a gun.

“It is bothersome to have to post a sticker of a gun that says, ‘Hey, folks, leave your guns at home,’” Theresa Nolan, principal of Tinley Park High School, told the SouthtownStar."

Right, so I guess in Tinley Park IL no kid has access to internet, video games, or TV. Don't worry folks, this is just an interactive way of teaching political science of North Korea.

And we wonder why adolescents are losing respect for adults? Maybe it's because they are smart enough to see how stupid some adults are?

Says the kid from Chicago, "Dad bailed on us, Mom is an addict, teacher is an Eco-hippy wuss, principal is afraid of gun signs."

It's a lot easier to teach a person respect if the authority figure.

I agree with them. I don't like seeing gun buster signs, either. Get rid of them all.
The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.

She said you can't look at the sticker and not think about Sandy Hook.
    What???
When I looked at the sticker it made me think of stupidity, because criminals will ignore the sticker.
Also, that sticker clearly represents a Browning High Power, which was not used in Sandy Hook.
If the sticker had the image of a crazy person it might make someone think of Sandy Hook.
People that think those stickers will prevent crime do not embrace reality.

I'm sure they made this fuss so they could be featured on the new CNN show "Chicagoland."

Apparently they're not bothered seeing 3 out of 4 inner city kids born to an unwed mother, or 4 out of 10 not graduating high school. Its an image of a gun that pisses 'em off.

I wonder why we have not had a mass murderer choose a shooting range to come in and shoot up the place? Without gun free zones mass murderers might get hurt.

Oh the humanity!! The very image of a gun is terrifying and promotes violence.

Next schools will be banning pictures of spoons, keyboards, cars, because they cause obesity, hate speech, and drunken driving, respectively.

See, if people see pictures of guns, they think about guns; and as all Chicago educators know, as long as you don't think about something, it doesn't exist.
"Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out of the way... The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way."
