    Question for New Jersey Residents

I was watching Meet the Press this morning and they had a segment on Chris Kristy, seems he might be recovering from the bridge scandal. That got me thinking, if he does take a run at the White House, where does he stand on concealed carry and 2A in general?

I did some real quick research on the web before posting this and it looks like he is generally supportive of gun rights but it was hard to get a feel for where he really stands. Being from Michigan the only thing I know about him is what I see on the news but there is something about him that I like. I'm just interested in what those think that have to live under his leadership, as it relates to CC and 2A.

    Thanks...

In 2009 he stated "there is a big handgun problem in NJ."

    What does that tell you?

I would have a hard time considering him for various reasons, but that's just me and I'm not from Joisey. I don't consider his 2A stance anywhere close to sterling.

Compared to anti-gun democrats in NJ, he's VERY pro gun/2A. IMO the only good things that come out of NJ is roads!

He has stated that he thinks NJ's gun laws are fine just as they are.

If NYC were to abolish their residency rules requiring cops, firefighters, and other public servants, to live in NYC/NYS, there would be a mass exodus to NJ, the Garden State!

He is of the mindset that imposing more restrictive gun laws on law-abiding citizens will solve illegal gun violence.

    What does that tell you?
