    Not looking like Batman

So how can it be done. Really If you carry OC Spray and gun and a light and a knife AND a cell phone where do you put it all on your belt without looking like Batman?

I dont carry OC, but I do the rest. Nothing goes on my belt. (while not in uniform) Its to much of a give away, and looks tacky.

blackberry in my plastic holster on my weak side, knife clipped in my back right pocket, small LED flacklight in my front weak pocket, gun strong side 4:30ish, wallet back left pocket, chapstick with flashlight. No OC spray for me. People don't even know I have all that stuff unless I empty my pockets at home. Conceal everything if possible.

I was baffled by Burt's Bees Wax, so I looked it up. You must have nice lips.

I don't think I look like Batman. The only things I carry on my belt are the gun, spare mag, multi-tool, small flashlight.

My knife and cell phone are in my pockets or clipped there. It's not too much. I have seen people with a lot more on their belt than me.

    Dress around your EDC

I work in a "slacks and tucked-in shirt" environment. I wear slacks with the hidden-expansion waist (Savane or similar) and a silk camp shirt. The camp shirt is cut pretty straight, so it blouses a fair bit at the beltline. I always wear a T-shirt.

All of my trousers are black. Tends to hide little bulges.

The shirts are solid colors, but with some woven-in texture or patterns. Again, little bulges go unnoticed.

If I'm wearing my shirt tucked in, I wear a Galco Underwraps belly band. If I'm able to leave the shirt untucked, then I wear a Tucker "The Answer" IWB. In the IWB, my 3" Kimber 1911 is at 3:30. With the belly band, it's at 4 o'clock.

Belt is a black Liger 1.5" gunbelt. It holds the Kimber snuggly against my body.

I wear (horizontally) a Leatherman Wave pouch in black leather to the right of my belt buckle. The flap rests against the first belt loop of the trousers. The pouch holds a blued Kimber "Officer-size" magazine in plain sight. Never gets a second look. Black pouch on black belt holding up black trousers. Nobody looks.

Behind the pouch is a Spyderco Endura clipped inside the waistband and roughly horizontal. Black clip behind black belt behind black pouch. Nobody looks.

In my right front pocket are car keys and a Waterman pen (gift from DW) clipped to the pocket.

Right rear pocket has a handkerchief and a Spydero Dragonfly clipped to the pocket seam. This is my utility knife. It's the only one I take out.

Left rear pocket is my wallet. It's opposite the gun, so I reduce the chance of accidentally flashing when I get my wallet out.

Left front pocket holds a tube of Motrin (Vitamin M for us middle-aged guys), coins, and a Surefire e2e clipped to the pocket seam.

Between the pocket seam and the buckle (about 10 o'clock) is my Treo 700p phone. It's big. I carry it horizontally. Clipped inside the waistband (behind the phone) is a Spydero Delica. Black clip on black belt behind big phone. Nobody looks.

I look like a middle-aged office worker (which I am), not Batman.

If I were to add OC, it would probably go in the right front pocket. It's on my to-do list.

YMMV one hell of a lot.

    Bill
