I picked up a new (to me) gun over the Christmas holiday, and my Dad asked me if I was going to get a permit to carry it. He never realized I already had a permit and was carrying a different gun!

My wife finally stopped asking "Are you packing". Now I get to ask her the same question.

I have a know-it-all freind who says that he can tell when I am carrying, but no-one else tells me this. He has trying to tell me that his way to carry is the absolute best, most superior (ie, the only) way to carry.
I have been into gun stores where the owner knows me and they could not tell that I was carrying. As a matter of fact, many years ago I lived in the Seattle area, and I had a gun shop that I frequented, and the owners assistant and I played a game of 'where is it?'. One time I concealed a 6" Model 29 and he could not tell I had it on until I showed it to him.
So much for what my know-it-all freind says.

So what's his perfect, flawless method of carrying?

He says the absolute best, most superior way of carrying is strong side at 4:00. He says the way I carry, (strong side 3:00) can be seen by anyone who is looking.
To which I say 'nonsense'. The 6" model 29 mentioned in my previous post was carried at 3:00.
As a matter of fact, one of the guns on my PI license here in Kansas is a 4" 625, and I have yet to be made while carrying that monster. As a matter of fact, I can conceal my 625 better than my Glock 19.
My friend is actually not a bad guy, but I think he does have some issues.
