In wallet behind my driver license.
I think similar to many - under my D/L ... in the separate pocket that suits such. Not there on display but easily got out along with D/L when needed. (Never shown it yet!).

I carry mine in my wallet just under my drivers license/registration/insurance. If I get stopped, I pull out the wallet and have the threesome ready for Mr. Po-Po. If he asks, I inform him I'm carrying and show the CCW permit. Karl.
When I was overseas, I learned to keep critical ID's and cards in a separate, low-profile wallet, away from my cash/card wallet. I still do that with my DL, CCW, my health insurance card, and one cash/cc in a very thin wallet, separate from my other cards and cash.

wallet, behind DL
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

In my wallet next to my DL and here is the reason way. In Florida you are NOT required to advise the LEO that you are carrying or that you have a permit. If the LEO runs your DL he does NOT know you have a CCW. To find out if you have a CCW permit he has to run a CCW check. All of the above said I will always tell the LEO up front that I am carrying and he will have my DL and CCW permit in his/her hand. The LEO's I work with every day have no problems with CCW they just do not like suprises.

Dispatchers have the best jobs
we tell the police where to go and they have
to do it. Policy manual says so.
As stated above,in Flah-Dah,we are not required to show our CWP to an LEO during a traffic stop.
If I were stopped and asked to step out of the vech. at that time I would state,"I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon and I have one at this time, what do you want me to do" ?? This is one of the only times that I would tell the LEO. Also I would tell an LEO at any time that he might have a chance to bump up against me or put his hand on me. Other than that, it's none of his buisness as it would be to any other person on the street.
Also here, we are obligated to carry a form of ID along with the CWP to be presented to an LEO upon request. I went to the local Kinko's office and made 10(or so) copies of my drivers license and CWP,had them laminated, and have them in 3 vech's,boat, and ATV. I also have them in my backpack that will go with me during natural disaster.
Being they are copies they might not be "legal" but I figure that they will at least keep me outta trouble. ---------

I keep both my MA and VA permits directly behind my license.
I keep my CCW and all my safety cards in a separate business card wallet that I keep in my shirt pocket. I always wear shirts with pockets. If I am wearing a shirt without a pocket then more then likely I am not carrying.
