What do you say when asked about your concealed carry?

My family and Close Friends know I carry so usually someone asking me about it isn't a problem. Although, if someone outside that group asks, I kind of view it as an opportunity to open their eyes so to speak. I don't go all holy 2nd amendment preacher on them, I feel them out and if they seem receptive I explain why I carry. It tends to have a good effect (unless of course they turn out to be a flaming liberal) A couple of these experiences have turned into range trips and eventually the light bulb goes on .
