Price Chopper Grocery posts in my home town
Just made a trio to our local Price Chopper to find a new shiny no gun sign at the entrance
I was quite disappointed in seeing the sign. It looks as though most of business is going over to the new Wal-Mart in town. This really sucks since PC is the only grocer in town.

Where abouts are you in KS? I believe all the Consentinos locations are posted; at least here in JOCO and KC, MO You may want to add it to the list over at ksconcealedcarry.com (will be down this weekend). This is interesting if it is not a Consentinos Price Chopper.

I'm suprised it has NOT been posted for 3 years. Ever since MO got CCW all the Consentinos have been posted around KC.

Luckily my local is a Hyvee, and they apparently don't mind! I'm actually closer to a Price Chopper but I've always avoided it for some reason...now I have a clearer reason!

HyVee is a good place to shop. One actually did post but after talking to the manager the sign came down quickly. They do not have a corporate policy against it; rather up to each manager. AFAIK none are posted. Even if PC was not posted I would not shop there since service is cruddy and you need that card. I have not shopped at PC since they posted several years ago.

If you have chosen to not shop at a store because it is posted, Good On Ya Mate!"
I would however write a polite note to the respective store managers and to corporate explaining why you no longer shop there. That way they will know why they are losing business.
Until they know what the problem is they can't fix it.

After about three months of sending my reciepts from Wal Mart to a local grocer that posted, the sign came down. All you have to do is show them how much they are missing out on.
I just included a note that said "You know I'm not the only one that will not disarm to shop in your store. This is the money you are losing from me personally. Consider how many others spend this much with your competitor now."

I did that at the HyVee I mentioned. I printed out the Quicken report that showed I spent $2700 in 2006 and dropped it off with the no_guns=no_$ card. The manager called and we spoke. The signs came down that evening.
Consentinos PC must be very anti-gun. People have contacted them numerous times and they only put up more signs.

That's one thing I've felt lucky about in WYCO so far
The closest grocery stores to me Hen House and Price Chopper, are both owned by Balls. And so far they haven't posted any of their stores that I have heard of.
