The ''Magic Media Report"
If the media suddenly ''got it'' - I wonder (wishful thinking) if we'd ever see the likes of this ................ (I can dream!!!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We hear more and more about citizens taking up options to be able to carry a concealed firearm. On researching this we find that the trend is decidedly encouraging. All the reports we have been making against guns has been misinformed, and we realize how important it is for people to take measures to protect themselves and their families. It is now plain that law enforcement cannot possibly be on hand to prevent armed crimes, only to measure up and try and find the perpetrators.
Crime and armed crime is an eternal problem and we see now that guns in the hands of responsible citizens, represents a major deterrant. We did feel for the longest time that guns should simply be banned but, it became obvious that criminals will always be able to be armed - no laws can prevent this.
We now encourage all lawful citizens to go and get a concealed carry permit, plus if need be training to make this a safe action. The criminals will it now seems obvious, always have their guns no matter what.
We have been told that ''an armed society, is a polite society'' .... and we are beginning to see this now. The time has come for the populace to seek the upper hand and make sure that criminal violence can no longer impact civilized American life without consequence. We apologise for our very biased reporting over the last several years and will attempt to encourage the lawful ownership and use of guns in self defence.
If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.
For Me...
If you willing to do the crime (to/on me)...be willing to do the time (permanent dirt nap).
I encourage anyone who will listen (if I think it is a possibility) to seek out a CCW and proper training.
I wish reporters would actually research their stories because that would be a good start. Instead they just use sound bites with wrong information. So, we can hope but not likely.
Actually a local TV news reporter did a very positive news piece about CCW. I was on TV as well as a number of other 'gunners'. Not only did it portray citizens that carried in a positive light, they interviewed a judge and a city official that carried.
But 1st
It would require that they remember their responsibility to "INFORM" the public they serve and not spend thier time putting the publishers political spin on the news.
A news service has a responsibility to "REPORT" the news.... THE EDITORIAL IS FOR THE PUBLISHER/EDITORS TO PUT THIER POLITICAL/PERSONAL VEIWS ON NEWS ITEMS.... NOT IN THE NEWS ARTICLE ITSELF!!!!
Condition "yellow" is a heightened state of awareness & response.
It is not paranoia...
An armed & knowledgeble Citizen has significantly increased their chances of continued Freedom & Safety... SO ALSO IMPROVED IS THE FUTURE OF THEIR NEIGHBORS
I wish all press was this good. Maybe one day the press will actually be non-bias in their stories.
