I finally got my permit today after waiting a long 100 days!!! I finally got to take my walmart trip, and sam's club, and kroger... I didn't get any nachos but it felt good not to have to leave it in the car again. I felt like everyone was looking at me even though nobody was..lol. It felt really weird at first but I got used to it after a few minutes. Now it's time to go to the mall.

Congrats, The first day carrying is the hardest, The longer you wear a gun the less it bothers you.
After a couple days you really forget yourself that you have it and it's no longer any big deal. The first hour or so I was constantly saying "I have a gun I have a gun I have a gun I have a gun" in my head, but after I got to Walmart and walked around a bit, I was good to go.
Congratulations, and be vigilant!
That is fantastic!

Last week I forgot my cell phone, But my gun was on my side. Congrats and be safe........
Thanks guys. I didn't really go anywhere today. Just a couple of stores but I was wearing all day. I was outside grilling and my wife asked if I was carrying. If she can't see it then I'm not too worried about anyone else. The "highnoon bare assets" was well worth the money. I carry a large frame auto under just a tee shirt and it doesn't even print. It's a great off the shelf holster.
The first day carrying concealed certainly makes you feel strange, and feel like everyone's looking at you. It's something that we all go through. But in a matter of days, if you go out without your gun, you'll feel naked. Congratulations on getting your permit.
congrats! be safe
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything
