I turned in my paperwork for my CWP on May 11th. I was told at the time it'll be "at least 90 days". The sheriff's office called me today to let me know my permit was ready to be picked up. I couldn't wait to get down there. It felt so good to walk in, passing folks sitting there filling out their paperwork like I had or picking applications up like I had and hand my driver's license to the lady behind the glass. After I signed the permit and she laminated it, I was out the door. This afternoon, I'm sitting here and I feel different...and hot. How the heck do you guys (and gals) carry in the heat? I can see smaller, thinner handguns in my future...

First, congratulations on your new permit.
As to what gets carried in the hot summer, it's the same thing I carry year round. Either a Sig P226 or P229. IWB in a Galco King Tuck. Usually with a cotton tank top under a plain t shirt. Whether it's in the 90's and humid like it has been this week, or 20 and freezing cold, it's the same thing.
I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid people. I'm saying remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
I know little on the subject so I'll speak at length.
If you have an excuse for failure, you will.
Congrats! I sure do appreciate pocket carry in the summertime.

Congrats, Doorman55! I carry my heat in the heat of Texas, the same way I carry in the cold, ALWAYS and NEVER TELL!
Cogito, ergo armatum sum. I think, therefore I am armed. (Don Mann, The Modern Day Gunslinger; the ultimate handgun training manual)
Congrats! Go big or go home!
Only kidding. I do wear a PPS a lot, but I still stuff a USP45 Tactical down my shorts with a t-shirt even in the heat.
I like all kinds of foreign guns.

I don't always use missiles, but when I do it's the Minuteman III LGM-30G
