    Back Issues

Tim - I know you just started selling cd forms of your back issues but will you sell them as hardcopied - the actual magazines themselves individually? Would much rather have them that way.. Thank you

Women and guns magazine has a plain gray outer cover. It is not to hide the main cover but to protect the magazine in the mail. They also use the inside of the outer cover for advertising. I wish all Magazines did that. because they wouldn't get torn up as much.

Ok, I got the November Issue, it was also on the CD I got. Does this mean there's no December issue?

Al - IIRC the mag is not as yet a strictly ''one-a-month'' - being more likely about 8 issues in a year.

May be wrong but I think this could be the case, unless it is now expanded.

Ok. I was just trying to figure out why I got an issue that was on the CD was all.

    Thanks!

I have a minor suggestion too.

    Hire a proof reader.

I only say this, as I've seen a few typos that apparently escaped the spell checker as they were otherwise valid words, but in the wrong place, like "quiet" when it's obvious the author meant "quite."

And of course the little boo-boo I found concerning "East Chicago, IL."

Anyway, if the job is open, I'm not doing anything else. My injury from working security in New Orleans has left me with a nasty infection, so I'm sort of stuck.

That is, if you think you really need a proof reader, and IF so, if it can be done electronically since I'm in Michigan and you're in Wisconsin.

If not, as they used to say on SNL, "Never mind."

    P.S. Did I mention I'm cheap??

Maybe a discussion of other countries gun procedures. It always comes up with the anti's "what about so and so country they never have any problems". It would be good if we could snap back "that's nice but that country has this this and this problem also". It's always hard to keep up on the arguments because they always try to put us on the defensive. Then provoke us to wrath just to point fingers saying we are the ones out of control. for instance GB, australia, japan, France, etc. This would show us how special our freedoms are compared to the rest of the world.

    Suggestion

First of all let me say that I look forward to getting your magazine! I just received the newest edition yesterday and immediately sat down and read it completely through. I do have one suggestion, Your article on the new Sig P229 SAS was great BUT there were no great pictures of the gun itself!! Yes, there were a couple of small ones but how about some bigger ones and in greater detail? Thanks for all the hard work you put into the magazine and am already looking forward to the next issue!

My latest one came not many days ago - dated January 5. There are some delays in the mag reaching all parts - and sometimes I seem to get mine earlier than many.

It should be there soon. I got mine on Friday. This issue was sneaky (maybe I was in a bad mood or something) because at first I thought "Hmmmm... it doesn't look good." but I ended up reading it from cover to cover and going back. Love the quality of the mag.
