I ordered the back issues on CD, so I hope to be caught up soon..

Michael, I joined in late November and ordered the back issue CD. Then I spent the December (after the CD arrived) devouring the back issues. I could not get enough. It was great reading the articles from people who think like I do, but who had already put their thought into practice. There is a wealth of good CCW info, equipment and gun reviews, and interviews in the back issues. You will know that you have made the right decision before you finish reading issue 1 and will be more sure with each issue you read.

Pass on the info about CCUSA and CCM.

    Have a great day.

    Just joined USCCA, now busy..

I downloaded the best of PDF's and now think I will be busy for the next few hours reading them. I also ordered the CD version of all the back issues of CCM. That reading should keep me busy until the current subscription starts up.

Not sure how many of "Us" there are, but count in one more today.

That's exactly how I spent my time while waiting for that first issue to arrive.

This is the one magazine that my wife and I both read cover-to-cover the same day it gets here.

How do I get the first issue with "Betty" on the cover?

I think your very first issue had a very attractive woman "Betty"??? on the cover.

I have every issue but that one, can I order it?

There was a lot of airbrush work & photo retouching done on that magazine cover.

    Talking

I sure am gonna catch it.

Oh Chris...you mean one of these. ""
Yes, I am probably going to need one of those.
But, see...I don't want her to get real conceited & "swell headed"...We hafta work with her on almost a daily basis.

Before ya know it....She is going to start demanding a much higher forum salary than what the rest of us moderators get paid. We simply can't afford Top Dollar Moderators.
As some forum members may have already noticed.

I had better start running now.
Run Run Run QKShooter but, you sure can't hide.

Don't forget tho QK - Betty is sole user of lady's rest room and so has to maintain and clean that herself!!

    She already feels disadvantaged!

    Somewhere in Tennessee...

Mrshonts and our own moderator Betty are in a clay pit. A sudden shrill cry ushers in a flurry of chaos.

    "Pull!"

A lone clay pidgeon flies overhead and a single crisp report shreds it to pieces. Mrshonts, Betty's Jedi apprentice, catches every single piece before it hits the ground because he's that freakin' awesome.

    "Pull!"

Four clays go flying in rapid succession. A bird begins to beat its wings. Betty cracks the first two easily, reloads the Red Label, and then gets the other two. The bird finishes beating its wings.

    "Pull!"

This time Mrshonts gets in on the act. Both are wearing blinfolds. Over four hundred clays fly out at a maddening pace. Mrshonts is reloading dozens of over unders as Betty moves down the bench and fires them. All 400 clays are pulverized in under 20 seconds.

    "Pull!"

This time instead of clays an Apache helicopter flies over the horizon. Betty fires once and destroys the Apache, and Mrshonts deflects burning wreckage away from them with his shots.

    "Pull!"

This time, the machinery makes a loud squeak, but suddenly QKShooter goes flying into the air duct taped to a seat torn out of a '98 Lancer.

Betty and Mrshonts each hold a 12 gauge overunder in either hand... a muffled scream echoes all the way to Texas.

    And then there is silence.

Talking Euclidean Closer To The Truth Than You Realize

Last time I opened my mouth up she just barely missed me.
She blew a hole right through my Avatar though.
