Humm, maybe I misread the renewal notice, It had renewal at $32 and then on the upper price list I thought that was just for membership and it started at $99 w/benefits.

Didn't realize that it included the magazine at the $40 mark and that included the membership AND the magazine.

Still can't afford either or this payday but will go with the one that I can afford (the $40 1 year) next payday when I am able to do so.

Maybe they should look into a payment deal like the NRA offers. I wouldn't have been able to become a life member (disabled vet so I got it cheaper) or to be able to continue to put in money to gain some type of incoming money flow and the member can afford to keep membership. I know that when doing a new grass roots from the ground up money is needed and is needed now but maybe for later.

So, if Jeff is correct, then when I renew next month I will go with the $40 one year deal and then try to upgrade when I can.

(See, that's why I wasn't afraid to "put it out there" because if Jeff is right then it's something that I had overlooked and misread which I would have never known if I hadn't of responded honestly to this thread ).

I am considering subscribing to the magazine, but I don't see that there is truly an organization to join.

I join organizations to help support my rights. NRA and TSRA are two that I am a member of and they provide benefits such as lobbying, legal, etc.

Now if you're going to subscribe to the magazine, it's only $5 more to be a member. But I choose my associations carefully. The USCCA does not have a history, or as far as I can tell, a plan for the future.

What will the USCCA provide that the NRA and other such state organizations do not?

I want to be clear, that I'm not anti-USCCA, I just don't understand where it is going.

That said tho - I reckon the intention is over time to build a membership of that such that we can become a body of some significance - maybe another voice in the fight folks have in MD for example.
If this is the case, perhaps there is a need for assistance to get things rolling. If there was a mission statement and plan, I'm sure there are people that would be willing to assist.

Given that a lot of good people here have joined and after reading some other threads on the subject here. I've put my faith and $40 forward and joined.

    Where Is Your Sticker?

    Where is your USCCA sticker?

What about other "gun club" stickers (NRA, etc.)?

My USCCA sticker is in a drawer, one because I just got it and two I'm not sure if I wnt to advertise on my car that I am into concealed carry. Don't know how many people would know what it really is but don't want to take the chance now. Now that I recieved my new NRA sticker it is on my rear window.

On my desk, until I decide where I want to put it. I'm not a big fan of stickers on my cars. Where did you put yours Blinky?

It's around here somewhere. I'll probably stick it on somethign in my office with my other gun related stickers. The only sticker on my vehicle is my IWLA sticker. My wife has her NRA Instructor sticker and an OF sticker (Old Fart).

It's in my desk at home along with a couple hundred other stickers I've gathered over the years.

I've never been too keen on "sticking" anything on my car.
Oh...BTW thanks for reminding me...I've not even put my last sticker on my license plate yet. It's still in my doggone wallet.

I'm not a sticker on car kind of guy either....the only sticker my car wears is my military base's car registration sticker.

I keep my NRA and other pro-gun stickers in a folder as collector items.
