    Tonight's Brinks Security Commercial...

Has anyone noticed the Brinks Security Commercial where the woman is taking a picture of her daughters and notices a figure in the window behind the girls?

All become scared and run upstairs and push an alarm...the BG breaks the window but gets 'scared' when he hears the alarm...but he wasn't scared to see three people in the house? Yeah, right!

Brinks calls in about two seconds and says they will call the police...and as usual...the police arrive to take the 'report'.

Wouldn't it be great to just have the woman pull a Glock from SOB and drill the BG right after he breaks the window...that would be a great commercial!

    Stay armed...stay safe!

There is one that they air when Personal Defense TV or Guns and Ammo TV on the Outdoor Life Network.

Guy and wife are putting kid to bed, front door glass breaks, man gets up to investigate.
    Sound of gun shot.
    Close-up of smoking gun.
Voice-over: Hornady, for your security (or whatever it says).

I think the scenario where she drills the BG would be better suited for ServiceMaster or some other cleanup company......

Brinks isnt what it used to be. That day was before my time. When I moved here two years ago they only offered $8.25 pr hr.

Who could even live on that kind of pay in 2005? I went with a local "mom & pop's" company, who payed better.

Security these days is based on con job advertising (it's all about making money). Even after 9/11. Time to wake up America.

I have a whole lot of thoughts on security systems, but I wont post them 'cause I am sure there are BG's lurking here too.

This is where a disclaimer should be required. How many times have you seen a disclaimer on other commercials....like you see a speeding auto mobile & down at the bottom of the screeen it says something like "closed course professional driver, do not attempt".

Their's should be required to say something like...."for the illusion of security".

Battle Plan (n) - a list of things that aren't going to happen if you are attacked.
Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
