Looks like another good 'un!
Just got my new copy in today's mail. Just a quick flip thru for now, whilst I eagerly anticipate the time for a ''cover-to-cover'' read later.
Content appears once more very nicely presented, good variety and great pics. Any specific comments I have I'll post later on.
FYI - I learned thru THR that George Hill having moved, has no connection at home and at work is pretty snowed under. This may well mean we won't see him managing to post much for a while - just in case anyone should wonder.

Got mine yesterday. Another good issue indeed. The first thing I flip to is George's firearm review. Dare I say that this is the primary reason I subscribe. I love George's no BS style of review. Very refreshing. I did expect the S&W 640 to fair a bit better, however, I am not surprised. My last two Smith's have had major defects, besides the triggers. I was glad to see the update on the Springfield Micro-Compact. My shooting buddy has the same gun and it has provided nothing but problems for him too. He is a volunteer RO at Camp Perry this week and took it along to have one of the Springfield smiths check it out. They replaced the extractor with a heavier one and polished the feed ramp. They claim a lot of them got out of the factory with shitty extractors.

You can always count on George to give an honest review. Another excellent article by Mark Walters. It really has me thinking about buying a gun safe. Overall, a very good issue. What kind of dog is that on the cover?

FLM - looks like a ''std issue'' gold Lab' to me.
Yep - I too enjoy George's ''BS-free'' reviews!

I was thinking Lab too but the head looks different somehow. Good looking dog anyway. Guns and dogs just seem to go together.

Joe - it is THE magazine for those of us who carry. "Concealed Carry'' is the title.
http://www.concealedcarrymag.com/
Take a look. It has grown exceptionally well being right now only into Vol 2 - and is hopefully gradually becoming established as the specialist publication it is. You won't find it on news stands yet but you can subscribe and get your copy thru the mail.

I just sent in my order for a 3 year membership. I could not find on the web site how to get back issues. Anyone know?

Don - unsure re back-issues but probably an email might yield some info. editor@concealedcarrymag.com might be worth a try, tho you may have to wait a bit for a reply - those guys are pretty busy.

Sent one in at the same time I ordered the membership, but to a different address. I'm sure at some point they will make the back issues available.

Don,
Send an e-mail to Maria D'Amato at http://www.uscca.us/contact_us.html.
Back issues are available. They cost $5.00 each.

I got mine a little later this month, but it IS another great issue. In fact it seems to be getting better every issue. Good work, Tim!
