CO: SB 34 passed the house today
According to Rep. Lian McFayden in an e-mail I just received, SB 34 passed the house today on a very close vote.
I believe it is now off to Gov. Ritter for signature which is a definite. This was a very near party line push. He's not going to buck his own party even if he doesn't like the bill. He already ticked everyone off when he vetoed a labor bill recently. I think his veto stamp will stay in the drawer for a while now.
Once signed, Colorado will stop recognizing non-resident permits.
