So if you were to move for the purpose of living in the state that is the most friendly to gun owners, where would you go?

Okay if you are going to throw in the name of a state, you gotta explain why.

TN, due to that CLEOs have to sign off on your NFA toys if there is nothing keeping you from owning them. They must sign off within 15 days.

well, i live in PA, where getting your CCP is easier than getting a driver's license. also, open carry is de facto legal, though i wouldn't do it. come to think of it, however, i'd like to change my answer to GA, simply because i hate the cold weather of my home state.

Just watch yourself in Philly, kind like it's own state from what I've heard.

As long as you're talking about job's aside, I'd say VT, as long as you're not a felon can carry concealed just about any where, no license required, low crime rate (compared to a lot of states) and nice scenery to boot

Utah - It has the country's best preemption laws (they even apply to state universities), one of the easiest to get, most recognized permits, and it recognizes permits from any other state.

    Vermont. No license required.

Just gotta watch out for smelly hippies, and obnoxious people from new york city on holiday.

I really liked NH for gun laws.
    Open carry - Legal
Concealed carry - $10 for 4 years must issue only place off limits is the court
    Class III friendly

VT is a close second with their lack of gun laws, but the fact that suppressors are illegal there really gets to me

in the end I'll end up in ME where the laws are just fine as far as I am concerned...as long as they don't addopt the new recurring training requirement that has been proposed :(

I would choose Vt as well, but, they have winter up there.
