Good thing I only had to eat those nachos once!

It is the middle of collegiate road bike season and here I am eating nachos at Wal*Mart.

I got my Indiana lifetime firearm permit today, it is pink. Of course my Glock 27 is in getting a new frame, so I'm stuck carrying my Walther P22.

I never got the "everyone is looking at me" thing, but I'm usually pretty much an attention junkie so I wouldn't notice it anyway.

Thanks for all of the input, and I'm carrying unchambered because I don't trust a $250 rimfire pistol with my glutus maximus. This will change with my Glock though.

    Anything is Better Than Nothing.

I carried a .22 LR snubbie for a while when I first got my permit; anything is better than nothing, but always remembered that a .22 might just piss off the BG, not take him out of the fight.

Hey I can relate...I carried a Jennings J-22 for a short time after getting my first permit 11 years ago that thing was scary...I had to carry unchambered since I could pull the trigger through the cheap soft Uncle Mikes clip-on holster. I have since learned about quality firearms and holsters (thankfully)

    Congrates on the lifetime permit.

Silly me I thought we all had lifetime permits called the 2nd Amendment.

the 2nd amendment is just an affirmation of your life time permit to protect you and yours. that is until some do gooder lets them take it away.

Lucky for me that I've been carrying for so long that Nachos were not even invented yet when I started carrying full time. 'Cause I sure would not eat them.

Your lucky your Walmart has nachos. The closest one to me has a Subway and a Slurpee machine. I had to settle for a Slurpee when I took those much anticipated steps through the door.

the nachos were from the subway, i didn't think they'd have them but they did.

i was in awe. the kid even had to go to the back to get the little bag of nacho chips.

if I was a BG that wanted to know who was packin' I would be the guy that works at the place where they sell nachos at wal*mart because every one of us has gone in there at one point and walked straight for the nachos, then wandered aimlessly

    who else would do that.

If he had, no need to carry a gun. The ammo he would be shooting would keep the bad guys (and good guys, and wife/girlfriend/potential date) away!
