If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

Probably the best place to ask a question like this would be at packing.org. You might be able to either PM or email the state admin the question.

Important Second Amendment Bills Moving Through Nevada Legislature!

    Friday, April 06, 2007

Senate Bill 237, introduced by Senators Warren Hardy (R-12) and John Lee (D-1) passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee and is now awaiting a vote by the full Senate. Companion bill, Assembly Bill 268, introduced by Assemblymembers James Settlemeyer (R-39) and Francis Allen (R-4) is still awaiting a vote in its respective Judiciary Committee.

With a Friday, April 13 policy committee vote deadline, it is imperative that gun owners and sportsmen contact their legislators and ask that they support these important bills.

You can find the text of these bills, as well as contact information for your legislators at http://www.leg.state.nv.us/.

Thanks for the info, DakotaXD. I've emailed both my state senator and assemblyman, asking for their support. They're both republican, so there's a good shot at it. Their hasn't been much opposition to this bill on either side of the aisle. So, hopefully the bill will pass.
