I will admit, sounds like it is just a tad better then the old "Mexican Carry" Gun shoved into waistband, held by belt style.

Nope, no rules about it unless you see a no guns sign on the way in. I've been trying to conciously look for them, but usually forget until I'm inside. If I saw one, I'd leave and send an email or letter to management telling them that they just lost my money for no rational reason.maybe a weird question

Wood screws? You should just duct tape it to your back John Mclane style.

Forget Walmart, go to the closest Gun shop and add to your credit card bill from a new holster, besides your going to get several more holsters anyways. That is too painfull to look at.

Congrats, the screws look to do the job, I would have used self tapping metal screws, less of a point to jam through the holster and mar the pistol.
Ditto here.... My head swirled with pictures of some of my less than perfect wood jobs
