Here in Idaho it is ok to open carry in banks unless posted with a 30.06 sigh. I went into 3 different banks this last Monday Open carrying and as long as you are cool about it and keep your hand away from it you should be fine.

My bank doesn't care either way... just keep it out of sight is all they have said.

I rarely go into my bank anyway...

Be very careful here.. If they ask you to leave and you are armed and refuse, here in FL you can be charged with armed trespass. This charge is a felony...info....

    Not A Problem...

    Here in Florida!

And if there were a sign...it would mean NOTHING! (...but I've never seen a sign in any FL business...)

    Stay armed...stay safe!

The "Federal" in a Federal Credit Union doesn't mean they're a part of the federal government. It just means the credit union is chartered under federal law (credit unions can also be chartered under state law). It has nothing to do with whether you can carry there.

I was responding to a statement about Virginia, not Florida.

There is no difference when it comes to carrying in a bank or federal credit union. As long as its not posted your ok.

Federal Credit Unions are not federal property, they are member-owned private entities, so the specific requirements of your state apply.
