I thought about carrying two mags but I should get the job done with fifteen rounds. I have a flash light in the truck so why carry one. As for the other items I would need suspenders to hold up my pants if I were to carry all that. I think you can over do it.

If I really want to go the distance I'll wear my Walter P22 crossdraw with an extra mag for it in a pocket, but then I'm getting very heavy.

Multitool on keychain along with a micro light.

Gun, two mags, flashlight (Surefire 6Z), expandable batton, cuffs, knife (Spyderco Rescue knife + Emerson CQC-7) and three or four disposable Tuff-Ties. All when concealed and all under a tucked in dress shirt.

If Im only carrying my G19 then I carry one extra clip. If Im carring my BUG, then I usually don't carry any extra ammo. I figure if I can't get the job done with 31 rounds, then I got a big problem that another extra mag isn't gonna solve

Got my Glock 23 in my Milt Sparks IWB holster, an extra mag in my pocket and I generally carry some spray (was advised early in my training that it's wise to have OC due to my state's expectation of meeting force with like-force). I'd like to start carrying a knife, but I haven't trained with one (and have little experience with them) so I'm not going to do so until I get some training under my belt.

I have a basic Surefire flashlight, but am not in the habit of carrying it with me (though I probably should if I'm going to keep wandering around my "city" at night).

this makes me think of a scene from "the unforgiven":

"you got 3 guns and only one arm!"

"i don't mean to get killed for lack of shootin' back!"

i normally don't carry an xtra mag, just a knife and a flashlight, but i guess i should start.

If there are more than 2 attackers then I am in the wrong place and all the rounds in the world would not do much to save me. If I can not stop two attackers with 8 rounds I should not carry at all.

I am not talking about what to carry when the SHTF, then I will have 5 mags, one 18 1/2 inch barrel 12 ga with 100 rounds, and soon an AR 15 with a few hundred rounds, but on a regular day my Kimber with one in the pipe and 7 in the mag.

Gun + mag, except if out for a walk after dark, then add a flashlight also. I NEVER go anywhere without a pocket knife. ususally both a small folder and a CRKT M-16.

    Glock 30 in a Predator SO-2 IWB
    2 spare Glock 21 mags
    Surefire G2 flashlight
    folding knife
    can of OC
    cell phone

why? because I can, not a burden, 2 mags 13rd each gives me extra in case its needed (and I'd rather have it and not need it then run my pistol dry and have nothing left), I use the light almost every day on my job and makes it nice when going to/from car at night with the family, OC has been used on 4 legged critters before and could be useful on the 2 legged variety

3 spare mags for any hi cap gun I carry............if it's a 1911 series type, it's either 3-4 extra (and NO I'm no paranoid, but was trained to carry in this manner due to my profession) If it's a wheelie gun, it's between 3-4 speed loaders or strips or any combo of same
BTW, the BGs read the gun books and know exactly what you're carrying.. thus keep em off guard..

I always carry 1 extra mag.

More for in case of a malfunction then for the extra ammo. On a rare occasion I'll carry 2 extra mags.

I also always carry at least 1 knife, sometimes up to 3 knives.
