How many always carry an extra mag?

I carry my Taurus Millennium Pro .40 in a Comp-tac C-T.A.C. holster, sometimes my Beretta Tomcat .32 on my ankle as well. I usually have another mag in my pocket. I also have a Cold Steel knife and Treo 700w cell phone.

But today I picked up a Surefire 6P Defender and another mag for my Taurus. Monday I'll be ordering a holder for the light and 2 mag holders. I'd also like to start carrying my Leatherman Wave. But looking at everything I wrote seems to be a lot so we'll see once I have everything in hand.

Gun, round chambered; two spare mags; cell phone; knife; pen and paper; sometimes a small flashlight, when I'm going to be in the city or out at night; radar, always.

With the 12+1 capacity of my carry weapon, I choose to bring 1 spare mag with me, for a total of 25rds. If I carried a 1911, I would probably carry 2 mags. A compact LED flashlight and pocketknife are also standard items, and surprisingly, the light comes in handy almost as often as the knife.
