    New Hampshire or Pennsylvania?

I am considering applying for an out of state permit from either New Hampshire or Pennsylvania. My primary permit is from my current home state (Missouri). With either the NH or PA permit I get a CCW gain of Wyoming and I have some carry-over (time overlap) insurance for when I renew my primary permit.

Both NH & PA seem like a pretty painless application process and fees. Anyone here know the turn around times for either NH or PA?

PA is quick and cheap, my reisdent turn around was a month and a half and most of that time was that I had to get up to my local SO to pick it up. I can not remember what county it is but one of the county sheriffs does it real easy and fast via mail.

Well, I am partial to NH. They say 10days for the resident permit, it only took them 4 to clear mine. I am not sure what it is for,non-res but I dont think it is more than 2 weeks. Either way, the extra coverage is great. Now if we could just get Maine to share!

I like NH as well. I mailed off my non-res app on a Wednesday. Got my permit the following Wednesday...only slightly slower than when I had a resident permit and it took 4 days.

There is a particular county in PA that makes it especially quick and painless. The name escapes me right now. Maybe someone else can chime in if they know it.

I did both non-res and NH took about 3 weeks while PA took 6 days.
Centre County in PA is the place to get it from.
Goto this site http://www.handgunlaw.us/ and click on non resident permits in the lefthand menu. All the info you will need.

    Check http://handgunlaw.us/LicMaps/ccwmap.php

With an Ohio CHL, NH gave me more extra states than PA, but PA would give me Texas that's not covered by NH.

Why not both? Before I lived in NH, I had both PA and NH nonRes.
