No. Violent shootings are isolated incidents and it's irresponsible to link them to gun control.
Yes. This shows the violence that can occur when someone has access to handguns.10,984

No good answer for second one.
Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
The only thing that stops bad guys with guns is good guys with guns. SgtD
Should colleges and universities have stricter security on campus?
Yes. Officials should screen people to make sure they aren't carrying weapons.
No. Stricter security policies would violate privacy rights.
I'm not sure. It depends on the school and its history of on-campus violence.
The above, is the new, second poll...who thinks up this crap? Sounds to me like they are just trying to get the answer THEY want...
Makes me puke...

That said I have to give Koodos to FoxNews. This evening they discussed that VA is one of the easiest states to obtain a concealed carry permit if your a non-felon and pass the background check. THEN they discussed that students might have actually had concealed weapons on them at the school and the "Judge" (cant remember his name but it begins with an A) got VERY MAD and pointed out that the school president banned the legal carry of concealed firearms on his campus that might have prevented the incident from being as bad as it was. Fox stated that they were attempting to see if they could find a student or faculity member who had a CCL and typically carried but was barred by the university president's decision. Oh this isnt the first shooting at the school, they've had another one in the past 12 months.

Voted. I'll eat my shoe if ABC put the results on TV..
Voted. Around 27,000 for no and 12,000 for yes. This poll isn't going anywhere. Cmidkiff's letter is very good.

Voted, but they probally won't post results on TV
Another +1 on that letter. I was about to make exactly the same observation about the wording of their poll.
I'm sure the liberals will try to spin this to make it about access to guns instead of the sick individual who is responsible for this tragedy.
Voted. Lets hope they put this one on the air (hah, yeah righttt.... )
