Sure would be nice to be able to defend my kids life at the school.

I would guess then even if the state did get rid of the PISTOL FREE ZONES the establishments would still not allow it. Which means students would still get expelled which means they probably would not carry or at least most would not. Then again a few are better then none.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the restrictions lifted as most of the places I go to are off-limits for carry.

    One representative is not enough...

Here is a link that will tell you who your state senator and representatives are.

    http://www.infomi.com/gov/distmap.html

It is broken down by county and then township/city. Click on yours and it will give you a link to their e-mail.

    It's fast and easy...do it!

I don't believe the pistol free zones would allow students to carry...

States can not only remove the restriction, they can also bar non-government entities from prohibiting CCW.

Kentucky prohibits businesses from prohibiting patrons and employees from keeping firearms in their vehicles, even if parked on the company's property.

Going to the next step and prohibiting private businesses and schools from banning CCW is not that far away from there.

Good news. Hopefully more from MI will step up. The CEZ's must go. Jones and Casperson may go for this, possibily Cropsey on the senate side? Anyone else? I will admit, when it comes to the michigan house and senate, I'm not too familiar with everyones views.
