    In the meantime.....

No Mass Murders have been reported at any gun store, gun range or wherever gun aficionados gather.
The Liberal Left is trying to create a Think-Tank which will be empowered to study this strange phenomenon. They will be requesting Federal funds to pay for the study.

The price of admission to one those places should be enough to figure out why it doesn't happen there.

Do you think I could get a grant to study why gun shows are so safe??

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

Well... there are from time to time shootings in gun stores. Pick up Massad Ayoob's book " The Ayoob Files: The Book" and you'll read about a gunshop owner Greg Ferris and a shootout in his store. I didn't search hard but did find one link from a google search about this. Too bad it is such a short article because the full incident is a good read. BG's come in to rob the shop and a prepared owner gives them a what for.

I also remember a decade or so back when one of the firearms magazines (Guns and Ammo, Shooting Times, Guns, I don't remember) detailed the story of a felon who came in to rob a gun store with a .22 automatic. The owner was carrying a Colt Delta Elite 10mm, loaded with the original, higher-powered rounds. The result, as they say, is history.

Gee why is there so little crime (other then the price of guns and ammo) in gun stores? Could it be that so many have guns? Nah... the guns should be leaping off the shelves to shoot at all who enter the establishment. We take our lives in our hands every time we enter a gun store, after all guns kill people and are baaaaad.

Sounds more like a carnival "dunk" tank. I got first dibs!

"Federal" funds, eh? Those are my funds, and yours, all $8.8T of the indebtedness. Stealing our money to pay for such things is theft, pure and simple.

I got on their email list by taking one of their anti-gun surveys a few weeks back (gave them pro-2d Amendment responses, of course). I think their survey was linked from this forum?
