I was thinking of getting a tactical vest to hold pepper spray, flashlight. knife and small keltec. But after seeing that pictures of that gun man, no way! I am slowly getting into western ware. So I am looking for a leather vest by Coronado leather. I have to find a place to buy one. I have a belief if you carry a gun you should look sharp and blend in with the sheep.

    Relaxed Look

I've started just wearing an ankle holster with a 3AT in it and semi loose jeans with my birk clogs and a t-shirt or worn polo. Guess I need something different for the shorts weather. And I look like a soft target...

The 3AT will easily fit in the pocket of your shorts, and you'll be able to get to it much more quickly than you can with it on your ankle.

You live in Washshington State? Man, you can use whatever you want!. Get yourself a nice denim vest ot jacket, take it to a seamstress/Tailor and have inner pockets and loops attached inside.
You can also do that with flannel shirts or any garment you use up there.

I occasionally wear a limp, lightweight khaki vest. That's in fairly limited situations, when the weather is just right, and I don't feel like wearing an untucked shirt.

I'm far more likely to wear a non-tactical fleece or sweater vest.

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

For 30 years I always dressed like I came from REI. I like the western look now. Just something different. In fact most people dress like there from REI in Seattle. But when you drive to eastern Washington people dress more western.

I've never worn a vest for concealment purposes, but I reckon it'd be ok to keep on wearing 'em in light of the circumstances. John Q. Public is more interested in taking away my guns than noticing what I'm wearing over my pistola.

    Ankle holster deal

Yeah I have a pocket holster however when I carry the most is when I am a delivary driver. So I keep other things in my pocket such as money and reciepts.

I can tell you that vests are adictive. All those pockets, I carry more stuff than I need every day. If I did not have a CCH I would still need my vest for all my crap.

I'm kind of curious, just what do you guys carry in those vests? I carry the normal stuff, phone, keys, wallet, knife and spare mag in a regular pair pants. I generally dont need more than that on my typical daily adventures.
