    Glock 36... it works.
1911...it works and has worked longer than anything else out there.

If you like your XD, try it in .45.

The XD 45 seems well popular but - apart from the obvious re 1911 platform - gotta mention a 220 SIG

My vote is for a 1911. Take your pick of the poison.

If you are going to shoot 45 ACP, in my mind you should do it through JMB's pistol. If for some reason that isn't possible Glock makes good guns that work perfectly in 45 ACP.

I Like My Kimber Ultra In .45...

but for what you're looking for, I throw another vote for the Glock-36...
It is a great little gun...single stack, so the grip doesn't feel like the typical Glock 'brick'...

My EDC is either my Ultra or my G-36!

    Stay armed...stay safe!

I'm an XD guy but in .45 I would get a baby glock. Another glock 36 vote here.
