Doesn't say he was denied his permit...could lead to someone to assume it was granted or still being considered. Just more of the same incomplete reporting.

    Dang that's funny.

My funny story. When applying for my first permit there was a guy sitting at the Police Records window waiting for the clerk to come back with his paperwork. I stood reading a gun safety pamphlet (reading materials are pretty thin at the desk) when a nice policeman walks around the corner putting on his gloves. He walks up to the guy and asks "Are you.....?" The guy replies "Yes." Nice Mr Policeman asks "Are you aware you have an outstanding warrant for a traffic offense?" They guy stammers and gets this "Oops" look on his face as the nice Mr Policeman applies the guy's new pair of steel bracelets. I was almost afraid to sit down and fill out paperwork after that.

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

keep in mind, it doesnt say anywhere I could see he was applying for his concealed permit. In NC you have to have a "permit" to make a handgun purchase.

Nah he's not representing us. Anyone can apply for a gun permit. My cat could apply for a permit, but that doesn't mean he'll get one.
