    My Grandma has a Gun!

So, after my urging my 63 yr old grandmother has taken her CCW class. Her and my G-pa are starting that "hook up the camper and we will be back in a month or so" part or their lives. Side note...She is not against guns, never has been and can out shoot most men in our family when she chooses....So she asked for my help in finding a gun. Well after LOTS of looking, and a Cracked frame on a Kel-Tec later she now owns a New Taurus 38 revolver with a bobbed hammer. Good price(its the Titiuem SP?) for $375. She loves it and it lives in the camper or her purse. But, the best part is yet to come. When shooting it for the first time she grabbed about four old purses and dropped the gun in the bottom. She then stuck her hand in, yanked the purse up and shot through the bottom!!! At 7 yards she hit COM EVERYTIME!!!! Watch out....Grandmas packin!!

Guess your grandma isn't gonna have to worry about being run over by a reindeer at Christmas anymore.

My wife is older than your grandmother by 7 or 8 years and she shoots very well. She shoots a .32 S&W revolver which she likes to shoot but will shoot my .45 or .380 or any number of guns. She is deadly at short range. I liked the purse story.

I like your grandmother all ready!
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

Sounds like she's got her mindset down. Just need to get her thinking about on-body carry.

My Mother is 76 & is a 24-7 carry. She just renewed her Texas CHL & also outshot all but one on the firing line. 246 out of a 250 possible.

She is a Great G-Maw. Her Grandson is drill instructor at Lackland AFB & he is as prowd of her as I am.

Glad to see another granny packin.
