    Out-freaking-standing!

I may move back to my former home.

When I worked at Raytheon in Wichita, the company EXPRESSLY allowed the storage of firearms in employee vehicles while on company property. I was actually amazed when I did read the company handbook.

But then, what would you expect from a company founded by Wichitan Walter Beech? A company with its own skeet & trap club on company property.

For some odd reason, Kansas keeps electing extremely stupid governors. I remember the moron before Sebelius (a Republican) who would only sign a speed limit increase (back when the Feds repealed the NMSL in 95 or so) to 70 saying no one needs to drive faster than that.

***? Anyone who has ever driven the Kansas Turnpike between Wichita and KC knows that 70 is glacially slow. 80 is just beginning to feel like moving. Of course, this dickweed has his personal .gov car driven by a KHP trooper as fast as he wants it to.

Thank goodness for the votes. Now I don't have to try to figure out what part of eastern KS cities I drive through daily I can carry in from MO. Hey, we elected Cleaver and McCaskell over here, and they are both idiots, sorry, can't say what I really think about them.

I understand perfectly. Nicely, so does the majority of elected representatives in Kansas.

Congratulations to upstanding Kansans everywhere! Nice going.

The Gov. is gone after this term but my fear is that she has ideas about Washington. We need to keep her out of there and send her back to private life ASAP.

There was a lot of grass-roots effort that went into the override in the Senate. Hundreds if not thousands of 2A supporters wrote letters, sent emails, made phone calls, lobbied... all led by Patricia Stoneking, one of our local NRA trainers. Without the effort, the Senate probably would not have overridden the governor. Goes to show how important every single voice is when it comes to protecting our rights.

Thanks to Patricia! She made a lot of it happen by helping to motivate and organize the troops. I do not think she comes over to this board but we will have to ask her if she has any political ambitions. I would be willing to support her.
