Congrats to the Neighbors ( Ks is about 30 miles from me or you could say closest town from some land we have lol )
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .
We only begin to understand folks after we stop and think .
Criminals are looking for victims, not opponents.
I feel obligated to go buy myself another carry gun to celebrate!
Thanks to all those fellow Kansans who worked so hard to get this done; true grass roots activism in action!

I'm a child of the 60's, but I got over it.
Now, we all need to thank the ones that fought and bled over this to help all of us here in OZ. Send letters of thanx to all that voted to override the veto of her highness, don't forget the house also. Now, it is time to let those that voted no know that they are not needed in the legislature. I am already composing a letter to Sen. Roger Reitz, to let him know what I think of him and his position. Everyone needs to do their share to make those that voted no get a real job somewhere else other than Topeka. I wish those that voted no, no harm, but I also wish them no luck. Time to move on to the next battle, whatever it may be.
A person is justified in the use of deadly force, if such person reasonably believes deadly force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to such person or a third person.
Congratulations. It's always nice to see stupid vetoes overridden.

Its really a big win for Kansan's who want the right to protect themselves and not violate the law. Steve48![]()
Today the Kansas Senate by a vote of 30 to 10 over rode Governor Kathleen Sebelius' veto of HB 2528.The House of representatives over rode the veto yesterday.
HB2528 slams the door on attempts by numerous cities and municipalities to create a mish-mash of local ordinances governing were Concealed Carry Handgun permit holders could not carry.
Cool!
In Ohio we just got our mis-mash of "home-rule" laws invalidated.
Some of the bigger cites are fighting the law but it looks good for our side :)
Thats great news! Now the good people of Kansas need to vote Governor Sheeple of office!!
I'm gonna go buy a Springfield EMP to celebrate!

Wow, I'm impressed with Kansas, two consecutive veto overrides on CC. Kansas keeps gettin' better and better, I may even move there one day if this keeps up.
HB 2528 does other good things as well. One of which is make it illegal for any private company to not allow employees to keep firearms in their private vehicle while on company property.

The gov. is term limited, and it's her last term anyway. She is truly a misunderstood person. The Senate veto picked up 1 more vote than the original bill.

Great news for all of you in Kansas! When does the House vote to override?
