    Carrying in........church?

How many of you guys/gals carry in church? I do.....just wondering if anybody else does. No big deal to me, I carry everywhere it's legal.

Every once in a while (rare) you read about some nut entering a church or bible study and opening fire. You never know.....

If I went to church, and it was legal to carry... then I definitely would.

Churches are locations where multiple homicides occasionally occur, so I am always carrying there. I've taken to pocket carry of my S&W model 36 snubby on Sundays since it works with any attire.

Sometimes I look around in church and wonder just how many people are armed, since I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Absolutely. Aside from the normal nutcases we have here in America, I have realized that not only am I on the top of the "killing an Infidel so Haji can go to heaven" list, but as a Christian I am on the top 1% of the infidel list.

I am having a custom leather piece made up right now specifically for church carrying my Kahr CW40. It will be probably about 2 months before I get it, and when I do then I will post some pictures. I think some fellow Church goers and even some business people might be interested in this one.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

So, where do these facts come from?

A different thread addressed the myth that self-defense guns are often taken from the homeowner and used on them.... The discussion was heavily against this myth, AND talked about where are the statistics to support this unfactual statement.

So, in that same vein, where are the facts that support this?
Not trying to be a smart ass, but, is this true? What and where are the numbers? I know that there are certainly some wars/battles that have been fought over religion. I know of many more that are the results of power plays for land, loot, resources, maniacal ego of a head of state, etc.

    So, proof anyone?

Be sure to check your state regs. In Michigan, one cannot legally carry without the approval of the church authority (pastor, priest, rabbi?).

One would think this to be true because of the wars. But this has been proven not to be so. I thought this was true also until recently.
I do some work in a church at times and yes I do carry. To me its a public place and legal to carry, so thou shalt carry.
