If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

I never know when someone is going to break my door down. Hopefully never, but I don't have a crystal ball. It wouldn't be the first time it ever happened in this area. Besides it keeps me from having to get and put it on before I leave home.
Whenever it's legal and in ones own home it's legal.
There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)
If I've not got dressed yet then I'm not carrying, but if I have a belt on then there is a gun on it.
I also have a gun stashed within easy reach when relaxing.
The only time I'm not a few inches from a gun is when I'm in the shower. But I have two dogs so that doesn't bother me too much, they keep look out.
i usually do...
Our apartment is weird and if I am away from the room for any length of time (ie cooking) it gets strapped on.
Was sitting in my room today and could hear the screen door open and close, open and close...kind of weird, i grabbed my revolver and peered out my window, which is just a bit above the door...just someone the landlord sent over to fix the screen...its nice to have tools close by, just in case, though![]()

Yes, I am carrying as I type this.

Always. If the pants are on, so is the gun.

Yep, got my XD right here on my desk. Also keep a shotgun in the bedroom ready for action.
There's a growing number of home invasions here in the Phoenix area. We won't even open the door any more unless it's someone we're expecting. I believe someone else on this forum recently posted about his experience of being attacked while in his apartment in Tempe (which is just a few miles from here), and his roommate killing one of the intruders (meth-heads, apparently).
Between the illegals and the meth-heads, things are getting really dangerous these days.
Yeah, I picked up a pocket gun a while back. I carry it while at home except when I'm showering. Also have guns placed around the house. I've made it a point to get used to having a firearm at hand at all times, and I actively avoid situations that would require that I be disarmed.
As I'm typing this my Kahr MK9 and Surefire light are sitting just to the right of my mouse pad. It's 12:20 AM and just came in from walking the dog, with my gun & light in my pockets.

During the day when I'm in and out and doing yard work and such I do carry.
In the evening when I'm home to stay I set the alarm and then don't carry but, there is always a firearm quite close and ready/handy on every floor.
My home is very secure...it's my castle and it's hardened up...so that buys me time and I am able to just relax a little bit.
