And I thought Massad carried a lot of gear!! Strange, while it would seem this guy is a perfect candidate for carrying a concealed weapon, I got the impression he not the type to do so, though he does seem to like knives.

That guy is plenty prepared for the earthquake he seems to be worried about. But, one would think that a crackhead on the street is more probable. Maybe he's confident in his knife skills- but knives don't win gun fights, no matter how many you have.
What surprised me the most is that he uses a Milt Sparks belt. I know plenty of people that carry guns without a proper belt and wouldn't know where to turn to get one. He has one of the best, and no gun hooked to it!

He seems a bit eccentric, but sure seems to have covered every possible need, except, NO FIREARM. Was his wool hat steel lined ??
I don't recall seeing a bottle of water or a purification system. Perhaps I missed it.
The bottle of water was hand carried, and he has purification tablets.

When I lap this guy running from whatever is going on next to him, you slow guys can pick up the goodies that I blow off his doors.
We'll sort it out at the fort.
