    My first handgun!

Finally purchased my first handgun Saturday afternoon!!! S&W 3953 SS 9mm. Slightly used but in top shape. I wanted something I could CC and felt good at the range as well. I am sure this is the first of many, but I'm pretty pleased with it as a starter. Sorry to come across as a proud pappa, but I am tickled about the purchase. Now if only the CCW would come in the mail.

Ok Papa - are you getting any sleep at night looking after the "little one"?

    Congratulations on your purchase!

I'm adoring the little critter, but I think I'll abstain on burping it.

Being a "new Pappa", I aprreciate the advice on rearing baby S&W. BY the way, the birth weight was 26oz.

Very nice. We do need pics!

I really like Smith single stacks because they are very reliable. They make perfect carry guns but with my big paws double stack works better for me.

I really like Smith DAO 3rd Gen guns. Here is my 6946.

You got one of the best Third Generation S&W semi-autos made. Great choice.

    Enjoy the new gun.

I'll post pix of the newborn as soon as I get a get a chance. I sure hope it grows up to be a .500 S&W with a 400 grain.

This is true...and the 12-15 pounds label on the box does not mean how much it will HOLD!

Congrats on the new pistol...that permit will arrive soon...
