It seams like the Land of Lincoln was confiscating firearms from those that accidently allowed their FOID lasps. I guess the only reason this is news worthy is that someone is obeying the law in Illinois.

While I whole heartedly agree with the start them young bravado, I don't think that was the point the dad was trying to make. I'm pretty sure this is a "look how easy it is to get a FOID in Illinois" anti-gun piece of propaganda.

I saw the story on the news last night and had to laugh when the State law was explained. Sounds like the Father did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do!
